Databases

Always get to the databases via the library’s website.  You have to be authenticated as a St. Ed’s user, because we pay for access to the databases. Entering from the library website will do that.  

From the Library’s homepage, choose Databases. Then, click Science under the “subject” link for the science databases.

Wildcards: ? (question mark) substitutes for one character

* (asterisk) substitutes for zero or multiple characters

Advanced Search also gives you a "stemming" option that will include the root term of your search word, and related terms
